1. Entry in table for MN_2 should have been MN_2. Only species was alfalfa. Region 2 in nowhere near MN. Additional support for this assumption is the fact that there is only this single species below that comes up when searching for this StateRegion combination, a very unlikely scenario.

6. It is not clear from the Ayers map whether it was intended for Long Island to be included in region 12 (Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plain) or region 13 (New England and Atlantic Canada). Based on the species lists for region 13 in NY and CT and that for NJ region 12, it was decided that the Long Island vegetation most resembled the species list in NJ region 12 and it was thus added to this region.
